There are nearly 400 children waiting for their wishes to be granted in and volunteers are needed to create, design, and implement these wishes alongside our staff members serving as their coaches. We are specifically looking for new volunteers in Gainesville, GA and surrounding areas to help local children who are waiting for their most heartfelt wish to be granted. Get Trained as a Make-A-Wish Volunteer What: Wish Granting Volunteer training - specifically for volunteers interested in becoming Wish Granters and working directly with our children and their families When: Friday, October 12 6pm- 9pm OR Saturday, October 13 2012 9am - 12pm Where: Hilton Garden Inn Columbus 1500 Bradley Lake Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31904 Register to attend: Pre-registration is REQUIRED in order to attend and initial paperwork will be asked to be completed prior to your training session. You may register until 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 272012 by contacting Deirdre Trevett, Volunteer Manager at dtrevett@ga-al.wish.org or 770.916.9474 x14. At the trainings, interested parties will learn about Make-A-Wish and how we grant wishes.
